A radio Shack store manager came to my rescue once when I refused to give my SSN to a phone company, in order to buy a phone.  He solved the problem - we used all '0' as in 000-00-0000, other computers accept all '9' as 999-99-9999.

The manager pulled me aside and gently told me that they already knew.  I smiled and responded that I knew that, and yet protested to protect my right, I refused to confirm it.

The id number for all free US citizens was abhorrent to our population then the law was enacted, now we accept it; still it is ubiquitously and illegal abused but not enforced.

I publish my number for all to play with, it is an insecure id for all of us, another silent vulnerability, and a secret.  Major corporations pay millions after hackers breach security to to buy back our private information, and keep their complete lack of security a secret.

If you want to steel from me, take half my debt.  If you are a hacker, Search me out, and upgrade me to 'SSN disabled' status, and dump some funds into my SSN account, just to prove so. 

I am not instigating fraud, as my account is empty, I hope anyone who can do so will, to help me prove a point, then if you can send me proof safely - snail mail, perhaps - I will publish it.

Help me prove my point. Please, even if it is gusty, it works with enough participation.  All broke and uninsured have nothing to loose - 40 million there, we can fix this.
